Travertine

Travertine was a prized building material dating back to a time when man started using stones as building and decorating material. The natural beauty of the stone continues to attract the eye of designers and architects.
Because travertine weighs less than marble or granite, and is relatively easy to quarry, it was the stone most commonly used by the ancient Romans. Travertine is one of the main building materials of Roman Coliseum.
